A snip-ette
This is draft 1. There is no editing or even spell check. Just simply getting the story on paper. Let me know if you like it or if there should be more.....
Prologue.
Ch.1
"Ouch"! As I felt the molten coffee running down the leg of my cut off 501's. "I've got to stop doing this late at night. And besides what was that? Something hit the window of my van.
I opened the door into the dewey, cool night. The breeze kissed the skin of my legs ever so slightly and i relished every second of it. Too bad there were no street lights on this road. Why would there be? I'm in the country. The middle of no where, by myself.
I hopped out of the driver side door onto the dirt edge of the road. I love the sound of pine needles crunching under my feet. I dont see anything that could have hit the window. But I was parked under a pine tree with the wind blowing. I bet it was just a pine cone that fell.
The house lights were dimmed. As I peered through my high powered binoculars that I got from my ex-marine friend. Of course, a rich self indulgent jerk lived in this house I had on surveillance. Hmmm, as i twisted my lips into my signature Elvis curl. Why do rich people always have dimmer switches. I guess anyone can look good in a dark cave like scene, right?
The time is 2100 on the 3rd of June. No unusual movement throughout the house.... I wrote on my report sheet. I was watching this man for his wife. Ive been on this case for 3 months and havent dug up any dirt on this guy. He's squeaky clean. Not even a parking ticket. Although one thing makes me a little uneasy. The red Lamborghini parked in the barn. According to the DMV records and Sharon, the wife. Shaun, our suspect, shouldnt have a Lambo. Who does the car belong to and why is it at their summer house? For all I know it could be something serious. I was just hired on to make sure this guy wasnt cheating. A new Benz I could understand but a Lambo? And red? Seems a little pretentious to me. Ha! Dimmer switches and Lamborghini's! Thats the life of a PI I thought to myself. But the car makes me want to dig a little deeper. My guts telling me there something going on here.
I dont think anything else is going to happen tonight but its still early. I want to go back and snoop around the house while Shaun is at work. Maybe I can get a better look at the fancy car and why theres a huge scratch down the side, it looks like its been in an accident, a bad one. If someones hiding a car in the barn there might be something else in there too.
I leaned up from my perch against the side of the van. I could feel the rush of blood running down the back of my legs making trails of pins and needles as I regained my balance. I stumbled back into the drivers side while the binoculars felt heavy hanging on my neck. I finished my report and put away all my gear. I cant help but feel nervous about this one. There were too many things that check out on paper but are out of whack for a normal mid 30's professional like Shaun. Like why would he be hiding a car that his wife doesnt know about? And who is that woman that leaves a different package for him everyday at the office? The office manager has no record off her but she arrives promptly at noon everyday and stays approximately 22 minutes. Shes a very tall woman and carries the same odd sized package to Shaun everyday right as he gets back from his afternoon coffee. I guess I'll be making another trip to surveill his office tomorrow too.
The fireflys and gnats are starting to come out. There were a few cars driving down the wooded two lane highway. Its beautiful out here at dusk. The wind smells like cedar and wet brush as I breathe in deeply and hop in to start up the van. I cant wait to get back to the city to see Jaxon. After sitting in a hot car all day and pretty much just staring at a house through my "spy specs" a long, romantic dinner with my love sounds great.
Ch.2
I drive into the city the same way everytime. The scenic route is my kind of driving. It takes a bit longer but its less hectic and the slow driving gives time to think. Time to think about running my fingers through Jaxons thick dark chocolate hair.

When it rains it pours. it pours and pours and pours
When it rains it pours. This simple statement has been the theme song for the past year of my little life. What a simple yet profound quotation. When it rains it pours. It pours out upon me like no other! It cant ever be a little thing or one big thing. When it rains on me it really dumps!
The past few months in particular have been difficult. I've had a few things rocked that shouldnt have been "rocked". Faith has been shattered, trust has been broken. Heart strings have been holding on by a thread, a worn and tattered thread, swaying in the wind like an old loved-all-too-much and worn too many times sun dress hanging on the clothes line.
It seems like the hurricane has been raging. No, not a dark cloud. I feel too good for this to be a "dark cloud". But a hurricane. A mighty storm of hurt and sometimes more hurting and disappointment.
I guess, this new chapter is something I told myself I would always remain prepared for. My eyes would be wide open to whats happening and I wouldnt be caught off guard again. The walls have been firmly in place for such a long time that they remain intact to this day. But I cant help but peer through the openings and reach out.Fingers outstretched and straining. I cant believe, after all this, I cant help myself. I want to jump out the window and go to where you are. In my mind I'm always where you are. In my heart, a thin, transparent layer still remains. But I just cant help myself.
I wonder why you feel the way you do. And why I cant help but be ok. All is always forgiven. Although, I'm disappointed. Terribly, terribly disappointed. I know you most likely didnt think about the consequences. And it exasperates me that they would be in the forefront of my mind.
In a tiny way, my heart is still aching. I know you didnt mean it to come out the way it did. But it did. I will never forget that those words came from your mouth. They werent even bad words. It could have been the best compliment Ive ever been given. The operative word is a powerful one, a wonderful thing that everyone should have. And yes, even I should be this to you. But I should always be more.
The hurricane is ending tomorrow. The winds have dyed down and I can almost feel the sun coming out and kissing my cheeks. But I cant help but want to go inside. What if the sun doesnt stay? Will there be another storm? Most certainly there will be other storms. And we will wade through the deep together. Because I love you.
The funny thing about pouring rain in my life is that it never sticks around. The rain always washes the earth clean. The clouds always part. Repentance is always granted. The curious thing is that I didnt ask for the hurricane this time. It was forced upon me. A rather maddening situation! I didnt ask for this, you did. And I got sucked under the current with you. But for not having my usual control I learned alot. Humility. Crying in front of cute little old men isnt as becoming as it sounds. Even when they hand you a hanky.
The storm has passed but little blips on the dopplar radar are still popping up. The patchy rain will be gone in June and then back to sunshine. I cant believe how refreshed this storm has made me feel. I feel wonderful for having an achy heart. Well, heart aches are just part of life it seems to me.
Next time lets enjoy the smell of the rain. In due time, maybe even a little puddle jumping.

an explanation to all.....I'm experiencing technical difficulties!
I've been told that I need to explain myself....about not writing on this blog. And abruptly stopping, I guess.
Well, first and foremost, I really was experiencing technical difficulties. The internet at work wouldnt connect to blogger anymore and we didnt have it at home. So that was the first reason.
And I guess I needed some time to clear my head.
Ive never been happier and I havent had must of the SAD(seasonal affective disorder)this year. In fact, I feel lovely!
I dont have much going on right now. Other than Im at work(mehhh). I sure am glad for the help tonight though.
I guess I'll do some more mindless meandering in literary form......... I dont have much going on tomorrow other than taking and picking Gage up from school. I think I'll sleep some. Guess I'll figure something out for dinner before Jay goes to school. Hmmmm, I'll probly watch tv too.
Ahhhhhhhh stupid 311 peed her bed again!!!!!! arghhhhh
Anyhow, hope to get blogging more
love ya'll!

cofee pot house!!!
Hello all!!
Its been a bit since my last blog again. No huge updates in the past month.
I have noticied that I tend to fixate on ideas and get almost obsessive about them. But I have been gathering even more information on becoming green.
So, we have a rain barrell that didnt get used very much but we still have the water and will use it when its time to water the garden again. And why is it illegal to use the houses grey water? I have no idea and I willl do it if I want to!.....but maybe not, i dont want to incriminate myself on the internet if the "feds" get wind of me using my own waste water.
I watched an informative program on the network "planet green" about a family that uses their reclaimed water(rain water) and stores it in big pressurized cysterns underground in their backyard. They have their hoses hooked up to it and use it for just about everything. They even have an irrigation system thats a drip line, but underground, that has virtually no evaporation. It also feeds the roots of their veggie patch directly and promotes better growth to their home grown goodies.
Another neat tid bit was that they didnt have downspouts from their gutters, they had rain chains. Big beautiful copper links that the water runs down and just looks divine in a storm. I totally want rain chains on my house!
So Ive made a list of wants that I would like to have in my "green" house. "Green" to me is all about saving money, of course, it helos the planet but I love the idea of being more self reliant and it not costing much.
My WANT list for a more efficient home:
-I want rain chains just because theyre beautiful
- i plan to make grow boxes for a better garden in the spring, we did find out that veggies will grow at our house.
-my big dream is to have solar panels and a converter for energy(big wish!!)
-when we redo the kitchen i would like recycled glass countertops, sooooo awesome!!!
-bamboo flooring would be nice, but soooo pricey! we may go with cork, but most likely the cheapest thing that i like
-a pressurized water collection system
-pavers that reduce runoff from the house to get a kickback from the water company
-new high effiency windows
-a compost barrell(the really cool one from IFA)
-and more than anything i want a biodiesel car!!!
Now, the whole thing to being "Aerial-green" is saving money. A bonus is the helping the environment. I would love to have a house thats so efficient that all it costs to run everything would be the cost of running one coffee pot. Thats the goal!!!

old farts need to be on time out!!!
I think we should have time out for old, crochity, nasty patients in the hospital.
An old woman just as soon as I left her room gave me a COMMAND to do the exact opposite thing she wanted me to do 3 seconds after I had done the intitial "thing". She was not nice about it. And used explicatives that were not pleasant.
Who was this persons mother?! Heaven knows who! Doesnt matter because she's an old lady. After the age of 69 it no longer matters who your mother was, and being raised in a barn no longer applies.
To all these crochity folk that choose to make my life a living hell sometimes... I say "get your wrinkly butt in time out!!!" "And sit in that corner until you can be nice!"
On a lighter note. I havent been working as much lately and am much happier. The kids are happier, Jay may not be happier cuz he has to work alot more now. But all in all, things are much more pleasant on the Aerial front. Less stress, more cookie making. Less anxiety, more playing. Less money.........I now self pedi. The point is, the less I work the happier I am. And now that things are in balance and all my chakras are aligned I can be a pleasant person at work.
But I'm still for "old folk time out"!!!!.....................its better than constantly wishing them bodily harm..............see? I'm much nicer now :)
